Drupal is simply the best cms, the modules are awesome, the api is easy to use and to program, excellent documentation. .
Because it's so well engineered. Other CMSs are prettier but Drupal is well thought out and pays attention to the engineering. Also anything that's good enough for Barack Obama and whitehouse.gov
